
Transitional Living Coordinator (Full-Time)
Primary Functions
Reporting directly to the Director of Program Services, the Transitional Living Coordinator is responsible for supervising staff and managing programs. This is a non-exempt position.
Major Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and manage programs.
- Promote the agency in a positive manner to fellow staff and the community.
- Encourage teamwork through modeling and cooperative interaction with colleagues, volunteers, community partners and community members.
- Lead by example when working with individuals receiving services and subordinate staff.
- Evaluate skills and needs of each resident and develop individualized service plans.
- Conduct weekly meetings with residents to discuss goals and progress.
- Maintain confidential information concerning the agency, clients and program organizational plans, policies and strategies.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation.
- Assist in setting up appointments and providing transportation for individuals.
- Submit records and reports as required by the Director of Program Services.
- Schedule staff and respond to emergencies as assigned.
- Monitor residents' interactions and provide conflict resolution assistance while promoting empowerment.
- Lead regular staff meetings and trainings.
- Plan, schedule and assist in leading regular life skills and psycho-educational group meetings.
- Facilitate Life Skills Curricula.
- Work with minimal supervision and make independent and sound decisions in accordance with agency policy and procedure while working with clients and staff.
- File and submit client data tracking information on a regular basis, according to program procedures.
- Follow all policies and procedures relative to this position.
- Perform all duties as assigned by the Director of Program Services.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science or related field and two years of supervisory experience.
- Bilingual/English is preferred.
- Prior experience working with at-risk youth/families.
- Driving is a requirement for this position.
- Must have a good driving record. Driver's license, personal auto insurance with required personal liability minimums as mandated by insurance carrier.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
